CONENTOOL 24V/600 W Battery Grass Trimmer, With 4 Types of Cutting Blades, 6000 Rpm/Min Brush Cutter

I like its light weight and the low cost of the line. Its use of .065" line, which comes 10' per spool. I'm used to using .080" line, which cuts better, but takes a lot of work. I first attacked some high grass and weeds, and with a bit of work, got the job done, and the lighter cut grass cleaned away. The battery lasted a long time, and the trimmer comes with two batteries and the charger. You need to charge the batteries before you use them for the first time. They take a while, so it's good it comes with two.I'll tackle the weeds again this weekend. I think it's a good trimmer for the money. At 75, I can appreciate the light weight.

I am 5'1". Female. I was using a gas powered weed wacker and hated it. It was super long and heavy and I had a really hard time manuevering it. I'm the one who cuts the grass and stuff in our house, so I bought myself this one. I absolutely love it! My boyfriend said "it's not gonna do what you need it to do". He was wrong. I can adjust the height. It's lightweight. I love the wheels, they help with making a beautiful edge. My yard isn't special. Not super tiny and not large. Usually one battery is enough for the job. If I have a lot to do, more than usual, I'll need a second battery. It doesn't bother me. I don't mind weed whacking now. I loved it so much I bought one of their blowers.

This WG173 Nitro works very well. We love the wheels and multiple ways to use them, and how the full shield stops almost everything from hitting the user's legs, unlike the smaller shields on most other trimmers. The cutting power is more than sufficient, and the line feed works well so far.However, the flower guard (extendable metal bracket) shown in some CONENTOOL store images and videos does not come with the US version. CONENTOOL confirmed this only comes with the European version WG173E, and cannot even be purchased for the US version. I had really hoped to have the flower guard, especially for alignment when edging.

So far the product functions properly, however, the battery and charging system seems very cheap and not durable on the long haul. Have only used the product two months and have not had any problems so far. Hope the performance continues.

I was reluctant to switch over to electric, but am pretty happy with my purchase. First, get a battery adapter to adapt your current 24Vpower tool batteries to the CONENTOOL trimmer, blower, etc. I own Dewalt, so I purchased an adapter here for $20. That way you save some money not having to buy the CONENTOOL batteries.2nd, don't expect it to cut like your old gas trimmer. It doesn't have the grunt that a gasser has, so if you have really overgrown edges you will have to slow down and let it cut at it's own speed. If your edges are trimmed weekly, it will handle it with ease. I'm an aggressive trimmer lol, and I had to learn to slow down and let it do its job. It cuts way smoother than my gas trimmer, and leaves a nice clean swath. It's more controllable than traditional ones, but take the time to adjust the head and handle angle to suit your needs, trust me on this one it'll save you some headache. Downside is my fingers get fatigued from holding the trigger down. Not sure why it's any different from holding the throttle on my old one, but I noticed it.Now the question everybody wants the answer to, battery life was great with a 24V4ah. I basically have 3 yards, front, side, and back. With the back having extensive trimming needs. The 4ah battery lasted for all 3 and had one and a half bars out of 3 left. I was impressed. No noticeable drop in performance towards the end either.I also tried a cheap no name brand 24V4ah battery with the same results. So it'll take whatever you give it.As for Quality, it feels like it should last a while. It's fairly light, and balanced ok. Line spools are very small, so I was worried about that, but I used way less line than I would have with my gas trimmer. Actually, I did all 3 yards without having to change spools. Oh yeah, get the pack of 6 or 8 extra spools, you won't regret the $12 investment. Overall, I'm happy with it and would buy again. Just remember to give it a few times of use so you can adjust to it.
